Helper selections for the 2006Kreisgruppe Championship will be announced at the helper seminar to be held in Ocala, Florida by the Gator Schutzhund Club on January 21st, and 22nd. The seminar will run from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturday and 9 AM to Noon on Sunday. If you are interested in working the SEKG Championship or the LV America Championship, this helper seminar should be considered a must-attend event. Helper selection this year will be based on the following criteria:

·     Ability
·     Attitude
·     Participation in Kreisgruppe functions
·     Recommendation by the club training director
·     Recommendation by the SEKG Board
·     Performance at the January 22, 2006 helper seminar

I cannot stress how important it is for you to attend the upcoming helper seminar. The helper selections for the KG Championship and the LV America Championship are wide open. Make sure that you bring dogs capable of working at the SchH 3 level. I have contacted all eligible helpers to determine their interest. The following helpers have been short-listed for consideration in the 2006 SEKG Championship:

Additionally, any helper that upgrades at the upcoming helper seminar can be considered for Championship work.
