Club renewal packages will be going out soon. Now is the time to schedule your club meetings to select your club officers for the coming year.

2006 is also an election year for KG officers, and blank nomination slates will be included in the club renewal packets.

Three SEKG Officers are retiring this year: Caroline Poole, Amanda Hoskinson, and Cathy Daugaard.

The process can be somewhat confusing. First a member must win the nomination of a club, and that nomination is sent to the SEKG Secretary. She then compiles these into one list of nominations. This list goes back to the clubs for a final vote.

JULY 30-- Send out election notice & blank slate to clubs.

OCTOBER 1-- SEKG Secretary receives 1st round of LV Officer nominations from the clubs and compiles a list of nominees. Any nominations postmarked after this date are discarded.

OCTOBER 20--SEKG Clubs receive the final list of nominees for vote.

NOVEMBER 20-- Secretary receives the final ballots from the SEKG Clubs. Any ballot postmarked after this date will be discarded.

Votes will be counted at the Fall General Membership meeting (time & date to be announced.)
